Pekarek... left the club professional business and opened his first clubfitting shop in West Chicago with its focus on fitted clubs and club alteration and repair services. In 1999, Green Grass Clubfitting moved to its current Winfield location, partnering with the best high tech vendors in the industry. Green Grass was one of the first shops in the United States to utilize the SHAFT LAB SYSTEM by True Temper, and become just the 3rd licensee in the world to incorporate the SST PURE Shaft Alignment Method. In January of 2006, Green Grass was one of the first independent shops to take delivery of the world's best Ball Monitor System , the TRACKMAN by ISG. Green Grass Clubfitting FITS and INSTALLS all of the major equipment brands, is now an authorized center for FUJIKURA, UST TOUR, ACCRA, TOUR CONCEPT, and HYBREX shafts, and utilizes all the premium fitting and installation software on the market. In 2002, Green Grass was named the authorized distributor of NIPPON SHAFT models in North America, and the following year was named the official distributor of the premium ZODIA US SPEC wedge series. In 2004, Green Grass was one of the five founding members of the CTG (Clubfitting Technology Group), and became one of the first CTG member shops in the US to receive their equipment from the SRIXON USA Company in head form. Green Grass Clubfitting, through our newly developed GGO-FIT Program, has been able to integrate the latest fitting technology, 20+ years of fitting expertise, computerized installation methods, and the best performing head and shaft brands.
